The Brad Blog: Gov. Walker’s Wisconsin ‘Union Busting’ Exposes ‘Tea Party’ Scam, Duped Americans

Time for those formerly hoaxed by duplicitious corporate schemes to wake-up and smell what billionaire sociopaths are shoveling…

Guest editorial by Ernest A. Canning

February 27, 2011- "This is not a budget issue," the policeman speaking to the cheering protesters jammed inside of the capital rotunda in Madison, WI shouted this weekend, "This is a civil rights issue!"

"Mr. Walker, if you are listening to me, let me tell you something," he continued through the bullhorn as the crowd rallied, "We know pretty well now who you work for. Let me tell you who we work for. We work for all of these people!"

The Examiner: Anonymous targets Koch bros with #OpWisconsin

February 26, 2011- Anonymous, the notorious collective of unnamed Internet activists, is declaring war on the controversial Koch brothers. In a press release this weekend Anonymous accuses the brothers and their financial empire of attempting "to usurp American Democracy," and call for a "boycott all Koch Industries' paper products." RAW Story: Koch front group advocated taking down unions

February 26, 2011- The governor of Wisconsin likes to say he’s not out to bust unions, but a front group for his chief financiers has a different line.

At a speech to the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) this year, Scott Hagerstrom, the executive director of Americans for Prosperity in Michigan, publicly advocated taking unions out “at the knees,” clearly contradicting the public facade of anti-union legislation hitting statehouses nation-wide.

The Brad Blog: ‘Shame! Shame! Shame!’: WI Assembly Dems Chant in Protest as GOP Calls Sudden Vote for Union-Busting ‘Budget Repair Bill’ in Middle of Night

February 25, 2011- The scene last night, as the Republicans in the Wisconsin Assembly suddenly, and without warning — quite literally in the middle of the night — announced and took a vote on Gov. Scott Walker's union-busting "Budget Repair Bill", followed by chants of "Shame! Shame! Shame!" from Democrats inside the chamber after it passed was remarkable.

MSNBC: Wis. Assembly passes bill taking away union rights

February 25, 2011- The Wisconsin Assembly early Friday passed a bill that would strip most public workers of their collective bargaining rights — the first significant action on the new Republican governor's plan.

The vote put an end to three straight days of punishing debate, but the political standoff over the bill is far from over.

The Assembly vote sends the bill on to the state Senate, where minority Democrats have been missing for a week. No one knows when — or if — they'll return from their hideout in Illinois. Republicans who control the Senate sent state troopers out looking for them at their homes on Thursday, but they turned up nothing.
